Series 3 Fiber Pedestals
Series 3 pedestal housing is designed and developed for Charles’ most popular 8” and 10” Fiber Pedestals. These pedestals are available with BDO and CFDP backboards. The pedestal housings provide the necessary environmental protection with a similar size and profile as our current pedestals. Series 3 offers the same access and interface for technicians familiar with Charles Pedestals.
Series 3 pedestals are developed as a response to unprecedented industry demand. These pedestals offer the same interface to access, construct, and deliver service as our current popular existing pedestals. In addition, Series 3 pedestals are built of the same thermoplastic resin as our broadly utilized CMPH and Broadband Pedestals with over 20 years of field-proven performance.

Fiber organizer backboards accommodate all commonly used fiber splice trays with a 4”x9” footprint. 10” diameter and larger pedestals also accept 4”x12” or 6”x15” trays. Cable management guides for slack storage
Distribution cable side of fiber organizer includes cable storage compartment, cable management guides, ground wire posts, and strength member clamps
Optional ribbon fiber kit and universal mounting stake available
Dom attaches securely to the base using a self-locking 216-hex head bolt lock or can wrench
The lift-off dome provides full 360◦ access to internal splicing area
Built with already proven HDPE housing, except for use in the OSP space. Holds up to the most critical demands of Telcordia GR-13
Interior weather-tight enclosure provides mechanical and environmental protection of splice and cable storage areas
Lift-off outer dome with self-locking mechanism ensures secure attachment to the base and creates a patented "Bell-Jar Effect" that provides outstanding flood protection
