Vice President of Sales
Vice President of Sales
The VP of Sales is a key member of the Executive Team at Amphenol Charles. They are responsible for setting the commercial strategy for Charles and leading our sales team to meet and exceed our sales targets while developing a strong partnership with our internal and external customers. This role is expected to have in-depth knowledge of our markets and products and have excellent executive presence, strategic partnership, and strong communication skills. They will oversee the North America Sales Organization and will play a vital role in our Global expansion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting and managing Amphenol Charles sales goals and strategic objectives
- Works with the executive leadership team to ensure strategic and business objectives are met by the sales team
- Develops and delivers the annual sales plan for the Sales Team including revenue, profit, and strategic objectives
- Effectively hires, develops and leads a competent and diverse sales team

Product Manager
The Product Manager is responsible for all business decisions associated with their product lines. Strategic Sourcing Manager
The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for the company’s end to end sourcing of products essential to our operations. In addition, the individual will be responsible for all phases of sourcing that require the skills necessary to identify cost savings opportunities, create competitive environments, creatively negotiate, generate contracts to assure seamless availability of all products to support the company objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for the strategic sourcing management goals of the company and implement action items to ensure that those goals are achieved
- Responsible for negotiations for the best possible cost service guarantee and develop “win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers
- Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models

Assistant Controller
Assistant Controller
The Assistant Controller is a strategic business partner assisting the BU Controller managing the company’s financial, management and compliance functions. The Assistant Controller is responsible for the oversight of the general accounting functions and ensure compliance measures are in place. The position will identify and implement solutions to mitigate financial risk and enhance the accuracy of the company’s financial reporting. The position manages a team of 7, with 2 direct reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial close process for the business unit.
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams.
- Manage both internal and external audits of business units’ financials as well US Sarbanes Oxley-404 (SOX) testing and compliance. Owns the quarterly review of all SOX controls.
- Maintains the monthly corporate reporting package and drives the standardization of financial reporting across the organization. Includes monthly reporting into corporate and adhering to defined close schedule.
- Key participant in quarterly reporting meetings and preparation of financial packages for Corporate FP&A.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
- Support the ERP implementation efforts as the SME for financial accounting and information.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of six to eight years of professional work experience in accounting or finance functions. Experience at a public accounting firm a plus

The Senior Financial Analyst – Sales Operations will be responsible for the gathering, analysis and reporting of sales and margin data in support of the commercial and product management teams. This position reports directly to the Controller as a key part of finance’s partnership with business operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile and consolidate sales, pipeline, and opportunity information across territories, ensuring data integrity and facilitating review to provide insight to the sales and leadership team.
- Key player in the Sales budgeting and forecasting process by working directly with the sales team leads to create driver-based budgeting models.
- Calculate commission payout based on plan design.
- Create reporting/dashboards in Salesforce.com, Power BI and/or Excel.

- Lead the development and implementation of Lean and Six Sigma strategy and deployment.

This position enters inventory transactions and monitors the accuracy of inventoried product. This position will also assist the shipping department loading freight. AS400 experience a plus.

Plant Controller
The Plant Controller will be responsible for directing and insuring all financial, production scheduling and inventory functions are performed in an accurate and timely fashion following accepted accounting principles in a manufacturing environment. Primary functions include analyzing data associated with manufacturing costs, material purchasing, inventory, product design and labor, tracking approving and reviewing all capital expenditures and preparing annual operating financial plans for the facility.
The Plant Controller’s duties include, and are not limited to:
- Provide strategic financial support for our operation in Canton, MO
- Reports directly to the Controller at our HQ in Schaumburg, and indirectly to the Plant Manager in Canton
- Collects and analyzes data associated with manufacturing costs, material purchasing, inventory, product design, and labor and reports on budgeted costs versus actual costs to ensure accurate valuation of inventory, including transaction integrity
- Tracks and reports cost reduction activity at the facility and reports back to HQ and management.
- Responsible to ensure adequate financial controls are in place for all plant financial reporting including inventories and fixed assets.
- Ensure manufacturing variances are understood and actionable based on the collection and analysis of data.
- Preparation of monthly manufacturing variance forecasting and reporting as well as annual budget to determine plant rates and prepares monthly comments regarding performance to budget and other areas of importance.
- Monitors plant productivity KPIs
- Responsible for analyzing plant CapEx requests to ensure appropriate expenditure.
- Review and approve all expenses, and Accounts Payable Invoices as they are received prior to approval by Plant Manager.
- Produce relevant ad hoc analyses and presentations
- Participate in cross-functional projects with business and finance teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree (or equivalent years of experience)
- CMA preferred
- A minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in manufacturing accounting
- Must have strong IT systems/database skills working with multidimensional reporting tools to retrieve and analyze data.
- Highly motivated and passionate with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical ability.

Specific duties will include but are not limited to:
- Directs all subordinates within their Team.
- Responsible for all activities within assigned department, including training, planning, assigning and directing work, raising performance, and resolving problems.
- Interprets the company policies to production employees and enforces plant safety regulations.
- Assists in identifying production method improvements, cost reductions, equipment performance and assessing the quality of the product.
- Assists in initiating Action Request for corrective actions.
- Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to the Plant Production Manager and Maintenance personnel.
Requirements and Qualifications:
The requirements (experience, knowledge, education, skills, abilities, and physical demands) and work environment characteristics described are representative of what is necessary of the employee to perform this position satisfactorily. - 1-3 years of supervisory experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is required. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/ or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate forklift preferred.

Tooling Operator
Tooling Operator
The Tooling Technician is responsible for building tooling in order to fabricate finished composite parts and parts inspection. Qualified candidates will have an understanding of fiberglass finish or basic use of abrasives.
Qualifications:
- Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to read prints, and diagrams preferred
- Expereince operating power tools such as a chopper in a similar environment required.
