CP2 Power Distribution Pedestals
Non-Metallic Secondary Power Distribution Pedestals Set the Industry Standard for Safety and Performance
When it comes to power distribution in residential and public areas, safety must always be the primary concern. Charles CP2 Power Distribution Pedestals were designed with input from leading utility providers to create the safest, most functional secondary power service pedestals available. Featuring PVC construction, CP2 Power Distribution Pedestals feature superior dielectric strength and high volume resistivity, making them many times safer than metallic pedestals in protecting against stray voltage and electric shock.
In secondary low-voltage distribution networks, CP2 Power Distribution Pedestals can be used in joint trench or standalone applications to distribute power between a transformer and individual premises. These direct buried pedestal enclosures provide environmental protection of connectors, conductors, insulators and other power distribution equipment.
CP2 Pedestals feature a two-piece split base design that allows technicians to easily install additional drops after initial installation. This feature allows for quick replacement of corroded or otherwise damaged metallic pedestals in existing networks with minimal labor and disruption of service.
