Compact, rugged environmental cabinet provides fiber interconnect capabilities at remote locations.

Charles Fiber Interconnect Terminals (CFIT) provide a compact, rugged outdoor cabinet solution for remote pre-connectorized interconnect applications of up to 48 fibers. CFIT cabinets are ideally suited to cell sites, campuses, strip malls, business parks and other environments where the customer requires high-capacity fiber bandwidth for wireless backhaul, private networks or data and video broadband services. Their convenient form factor saves space and allows for one-person placement on walls, poles or H-Frame mounts.

With a built-in SC/APC or SC/UPC adapter bulkhead, CFIT cabinets facilitate fast and easy provisioning of fiber services to the end customers’ fiber multiplexing equipment. Fiber drops can be turned up, moved or disconnected on an “as needed” basis, giving telecom service providers added flexibility in their efforts to provide broadband voice, data and video services to customers whose bandwidth requirements may change seasonally or due to major events.

The CFIT-D3 is designed as a demarcation terminal with lockable internal chambers that seperate access between the service provider and up to three different subscribers.

CFIT Left Side View

Fiber splice trays and cable slack storage are neatly organized and readily accessible to technicians. A door stop hinge keeps the outer door securely open and out of the technician's way during splicing activities.  Knockouts on the bottom panel accept both 1.25" and 2" diameter conduit for cable entry and exit.

CFIT Right Side View

The adapter plate accommodates up to 48 SC/APC or SC/UPC adapters, scalable in 12 adapter bank increments for "grow-as-you-go" scalability. Fiber bend controls and cable tie-down locations with D-clips help route and store up to 125' of drop cable neatly and securely.
