Charles Multi-Stage
Regulators are designed to control the power of the alternator output and
maintain the proper battery charging voltage regardless of the engine
speed. The charge effect of
the alternator depends solely on the electronic three-stage regulator.
These units have been designed for use with a wide variety of
type-P alternators.
