Markets Served
With a focus on the “first mile”—spanning from the central office to the customer premise—Charles’ telecom solutions improve reliability of voice and data services and pave the pathways of communication throughout the world.

  • Outside Plant (OSP) product solutions include load coils, electronic and wire enclosures, apparatus cases and terminal housings.

  • Broadband Access & Transmission (BA&T) product solutions consist of voice and data transmission products from local loop and transport access to network applications, including T1 Channel Banks and Span Termination systems, Digital Pair-Gain, 360-80 Intelligent Channel Bank and High-Speed Voice and Data Link (HVDL), a broadband product.

            

Customers Served
Charles Industries serves the Outside Plant and Network Access market segments.  Charles’ customers include SBC, BellSouth, Verizon, Sprint as well as other IXCs, ILECs and IOCs.  Charles’ customers are served through direct sales as well as distributor partners, including Verizon Logistics, Sprint North Supply, KGP, Power & Telephone and others.


Core Competencies

  • Technical skills in Research & Development Engineering, including hardware design, software applications and system integration.

  • Advanced Vertically-Integrated Operations, including surface mount technology (SMT), plastic injection and extrusion molding and forming, electrical and mechanical assembly and sheet metal fabrication.
